I was born in General Lagos, on the border of my country with Peru and Bolivia. I am a mother of 6 children, and thanks to my work, I have been able to support them. I learned to spin and knit from a very young age; my mother taught me. As a young woman, I migrated to the city, always with the desire to continue this beautiful tradition of my village. I am excited about my culture, the colors, and I love wool. I don't like doing the same thing all the time; innovating and creating new designs is my thing, especially now that I am dyeing everything with natural materials. My dream is to travel and get to know other cultures.
